100 PRAYERS GOD LOVES TO HEAR, 100 PRAISE SONGS: (By Stephen Elkins)

"100 Prayers God loves to Hear, 100 Praise Songs"is a fantastic resourse.  This is a childrens book that colorfully and creatively teaches children the joy of prayer.  It teaches them at a young age that God is a God in whom we can place our trust. 

Each pair of pages contains one short prayer from the Bible and a brief life application.  But wait, there's more: each prayer has a corresponding childrens' song on one of two included CD's.  The prayer studies are so brief that children are not quickly bored, but want to hear/read more.  It's my opinion that one can never read too much of the Word.

This book, however, is not solely for children.  I believe this would be a great book for adults to use as a springboard for study.  One could use it as a guide to begin a deep theological study by reading/studying larger portions of the passages surrounding the prayer, or one could shorten it up a bit and use it as a springboard to one's own prayer or brief "devotional". 

In any case, this book encourages the readers to prayer and to placing trust in God by directing us to His Word.
